The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is holding a Catfish Challenge fishing tournament to raise money for the department’s K-9 teams, which are primarily supported through donations.
Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places and 50 percent of the entry fees will go to the county’s K-9 units.
The contest will begin at Lake Anna’s High Point Marina on Saturday, August 4, at 7 p.m. and ends on Sunday, August 5, at 7 a.m.
