Providence Presbyterian Church announces its 2015-2016 preschool staff of highly experienced and respected teachers.
Carrie Jenkins, who has taught kindergarten in Louisa County for nine years and is Jouett Elementary School’s current Educator of the Year, will be heading up the program as director. Jenkins is a lifelong member of Providence Presbyterian Church.
Joining her will be Laura Spicer with 22 years of experience in teaching and administration, including Providence Preschool and kindergarten at Thomas Jefferson Elementary. Spicer, who also grew up in the Providence congregation, was a former director of the preschool following founder, Cathy Gill, and second director, Barbara Lacy.
