The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who evaded arrest during a Nov. 8 pursuit through Louisa and Mineral.
Major Donald Lowe of the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office said Cpl. Graham McIntyre, who was in pursuit, shot at the vehicle’s tire in order to stop the vehicle, but the shot missed.
The suspect lost control of the vehicle, crashing at the Dollar General store in Mineral, where he fled on foot and unsuccessfully attempted to confiscate a local residents vehicle, according to the sheriff’s department. The suspect allegedly stole a green 1993 Ford F150 pickup parked nearby.
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Ronald Lee Greer, who has felony warrants in four jurisdictions in Maryland and is a person of interest in the breaking and entering at the Advanced Auto Parts in Louisa.
The LCSO has issued a felony warrant on Greer, a white male with red hair and blue eyes. He is 6’1” and weighs 250 pounds. He has various tattoos on his right and left shoulders and arms. He also has a tattoo on his chest and right forearm.
