A Mineral man, who could have faced a maximum of life in prison, entered into a written plea agreement with Louisa County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. As a result, he now faces less prison time – up to 60 years.
Michael Roy Greene, Jr., 19, appeared in Louisa County Circuit Court on Thursday, Oct. 24, to enter a guilty plea on five of 30 counts of grand larceny and forgery.
Greene stole checks from his parents, Michael and Diane Greene in April and began cashing them at the Mineral branch of BB&T. The total amount stolen was $2,280.
