Two of Louisa County High School’s cross country runners competed in a national competition to close out their junior seasons.
Dillon Nelson and Sarah Seay represented not only Louisa County, but the entire state of Virginia at the 2017 Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional Championships on Nov. 25 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The South Region is comprised of states in the south and south-eastern United States. Nelson and Seay competed against runners from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia.
Different age groups competed throughout the day, from 10 years old and under through high school.
