There is a new face in the Louisa County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office.
Adam Ward, formally of western Maryland, is the new assistant commonwealth’s attorney.
Ward has lived sporadically in Louisa, making a permanent move here in 2010.
“I’ve always loved this area,” Ward said. “It’s an area I would like to call home.”
Ward, 28, graduated from Shenandoah University in Winchester before going to law school at the University of Richmond.
Having family members who are lawyers inspired Ward to pursue that career path. He remembers them being honest and forthright and thought there was always a dignity to that.
Ward said he has no qualms with being the new person in the Commonwealth’s office, adding that he is looking forward to gaining experience, becoming more well rounded and is intrigued by the speed and pace of the district court.
