New design on JAUNT bus honors Louisa

Posted on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 5:00 am

JAUNT, which operates a daily public transit service in Louisa County, will soon introduce buses designed especially for locals on certain routes. The buses, designed by Brian Becton, a Louisa resident, feature Louisa County Public Schools’ Lion mascot and the schools’ green and gold colors. Brad Sheffield, JAUNT executive director, said the idea for the bus redesign came from the Louisa County Board of Supervisors. The work was performed at no cost to the county. The goal of the redesign is to increase public pride in the bus service. Submitted photo
