Brian Beckley, has already experienced more medical challenges than most people face in a lifetime.

Born with a rare and still undiagnosed blood disorder, Brian suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke in February and was in a drug-induced coma at the VCU/MCV hospital on his fourth birthday, which was Valentine's Day.

Since then, he has had brain surgery, resulting in the removal of part of his brain, and went through an extensive recovery process at the Kluge Pediatric Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville.
