Gladys Yates has worn many hats since July 2012. The assistant county attorney for Louisa County works not only for the county’s human resource’s office handling day-to-day operations, but also with the department of social services for child abuse and neglect cases, adult protection and foster care cases.
Yates, who reports to Louisa County Attorney Dale Mullen, is passionate about her work with social services, and she likes the diversity of her position.
“Gladys Yates has done the important work of protecting our most vulnerable citizens at Louisa Department of Human Services (DHS) for years,” Mullen said. “She is a true professional with a wealth of local government experience and is a real asset to the county team.”
