There are still some openings in Louisa County Parks and Recreation Department’s TeenQuest Adventure Camps in July.
Each week, campers ages 11 through 15 years old meet at the Betty Queen Center and go on daily trips to attractions and activities in the region. Some of the highlights for the week of July 15 include: Luray Caverns, Montpelier, the Exchange Hotel Museum, Dixon Park Pool and Cici’s Pizza, along with some local adventures.
The final week of camp, July 29 through Aug. 2, the adventures planned include: bowling, ice skating, the National Zoo in DC, the YMCA waterpark in Fredericksburg and some local activities.
The registration/cancellation deadline is the Wednesday before the start of each camp session or when it is filled. The cost is $125 per week, and campers may register at the Louisa County Parks and Recreation office in the Betty Queen Center or online at www.LCPR.info. For more information, call (540) 967-4420.
