Louisa 4-H Camp will be held June 2 through June 6, and gives a week of fun, fellowship and learning for campers age nine through 13 (must turn nine before Sept. 30, 2014).
The 4-H camping program provides a fun opportunity for boys and girls to learn skills through hands-on experiences while helping them build self-esteem and challenging them to be innovative and creative. Campers have the opportunity to participate in exciting classes, swim and recreation time, special evening events and more.
Camp is more than just fun. It is also accredited through the American Camping Association, staffed with highly qualified staff and teen and adult volunteers, and focused on the 4-H “Learn by Doing” motto and experiential learning model.
Camp slots fill on a first come first served basis. The camp cost is $190, which includes meals, lodging, transportation and a t-shirt. There is a discount for more than one child attending. Payment plans are available after initial deposit of $50 per child.
