Tuesday: Called Meeting for Louisa County School Board

The Louisa County School Board will hold a Called Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The meeting was advertised in the Feb. 14 edition of The Central Virginian.

The board is expected to receive two weekly project updates on the high school from Grimm & Parker Architects.

Additionally, the board is scheduled to consider two proposals and purchase orders from Dewberry and Davis for Phase 2 of the classroom walls for Jouett Elementary and Trevilians Elementary.  Should the board concur with these services, action will be required.

Also slated for discussion is a resolution requesting authorization from the Board of Supervisors to transfer a savings in the CIP budget to purchase safety and security equipment for Louisa County Public Schools.

The meeting, held at the Louisa County Public Schools Central Administration Office, will be called to order at 6:30 p.m., then move to a special Closed Session. The Regular Session is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
