Topping the list are seniors Malik Bell and Tony Thurston, who were named the offensive and defensive players of the year, respectively.
“It’s a great feeling to be awarded that title,” Thurston said. “It’s good knowing all my hard work and numerous hours of preparation paid off.”
Bell felt equally honored to be named offensive player of the year.
“It’s something that no one can ever take from me,” he said. “It’s a great feeling to have that.”
