Unity Day at Mt. Zion Baptist Church

Mt. Zion Baptist Church will sponsor a Unity Day on June 15 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

This free community event will be filled with fellowship, fun and food. Planned are games, a 50/50 raffle, prizes and activities for children. There will also be a car show, yard sale, bake sale, health and wellness screenings and vendors. Food will be available for purchase.

“We hope this activity will bring the community together as we showcase our vintage cars and fellowship with one another,” church leaders said.

Those interested in showcasing their cars can register that morning beginning at 10 a.m. for $15. Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 vehicles that register. Awards will be given for best paint, best engine, best custom, best street rod, best original, best General Motors car, best Ford car, best Mopar car, best import car, best specialty vehicle and best of show.
