The Louisa Herb Guild will host a Heritage Skill Workshop: Boxwood Wreaths from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Michie House behind the Sargeant Museum. What is prettier on your front door at Christmas than a wreath made of natural greenery trimmed with holiday-themed ribbon? A 12-inch straw frame, florist pins and boxwood and other greens will be provided. Participants should bring clippers, work gloves, small hammer, and any adornments such as ribbon (3 yards min. for a bow). Enjoy the ambiance of a roaring fire in the Sargeant Museum’s Michie House as you make your wreath. Ages 14+.  Minimum 4 / Maximum 8. $25 per person. Register through Louisa County Parks, Recreation & Tourism. The museum is located at 214 Fredericksburg Ave., Louisa.
