NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LOUISA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Louisa County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the following items at 6:00 p.m., after regular business, on Monday, April 18, 2022, in the Louisa County Public Meeting Room, Main Floor, Louisa County Office Building, Louisa, Virginia: Public Hearing - LDR2022-04 Proposed Amendments to Chapter 86 Land Development Regulations – Division 2, Article VII. Agricultural and Forestal Districts – Review and Renewal Ellisville Agricultural and Forestal District LDR2022-04; Proposed amendments to Chapter 86 Land Development Regulations, Section 86-501 Districts Described to amend the Ellisville Agricultural and Forestal District by removing Tax Map Parcels 25-91 (J D Land Holdings LC) and 25-1-A (David M. Purcell Trustee), at the owner’s request, and to add Tax Map Parcel 26-5A, created through a family subdivision of TMP 26-5 currently in the existing district. Review is also to recommend renewal of the Ellisville Agricultural and Forestal District for an additional ten (10) year period to expire May 4, 2032. As required by State Code Section 15.2-4311 Review of Districts, this notice is to advise that the district is being reviewed by the local governing body; that the local governing body may continue, modify, or terminate the district; and that land may be withdrawn from the district at the owner’s discretion by filing a written notice with the local governing body at any time before it acts to continue, modify or terminate the district. The Planning Commission voted to forward a recommendation of approval to the Board of Supervisors. Public Hearing - LDR2022-05 Proposed Amendments to Chapter 86 Land Development Regulations - Division 2, Article VII. Agricultural and Forestal Districts – Review and Renewal Gold Mine Creek Agricultural and Forestal District LDR2022-05; Proposed amendments to Chapter 86 Land Development Regulations, Section 86-501 Districts Described to amend the Gold Mine Creek Agricultural and Forestal District by removing Tax Map Parcel 14-62 (Christopher and Racheal Yarrington), at the owner’s request; to delete Tax Map Parcel 13-80 (1.196 acres); which was part of the original district, and replace it with Tax Map Parcel 13-81 (a 1.196 ac portion of) due to vacation of the common property line between these parcels; and to add Tax Map Parcel 16-23, which is shown on the maps and prior records to be part of the Gold Mine Creek AFD; however, it was not included in the parcel listing in the ordinance. Review is also to recommend renewal of the Gold Mine Creek Agricultural and Forestal District for an additional ten (10) year period to expire May 4, 2032. Agricultural and Forestal Districts – Review Request for Parcel Withdrawal – Mountain Road Agricultural and Forestal District LDR2022-06; Proposed amendments to Chapter 86 Land Development Regulations, Section 86-501 Districts Described to amend the Mountain Road Agricultural and Forestal District by removing Tax Map Parcel 81-15C (Louis L. Kean Jr. LLC), at the owner’s request; and to add Tax Map Parcels 81-1A, 81-15A and 81-15B. Tax Map Parcels 81-1 and 81-15, were part of the original district and subject to a court ordered division of the two parcels in 2012, creating the three (3) new tax parcels to be added. The Planning Commission voted to forward a recommendation of approval to the Board of Supervisors.
