Notice of Special Call Meeting and Public Hearing
THE LOUISA TOWN COUNCIL WILL HOLD A SPECIAL
CALLED MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING AT 6:00
PM ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2022 AT 212
FREDERICKSBURG AVENUE, LOUISA, VIRGINIA TO
CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEM:
SUP 2021-03: A Special Use Permit application submitted by
William A. Cooke, Incorporated (Tax Map 40A1-1-53; 0.984
total acres) located on West Main Street, Louisa, Virginia, in the
General Commercial zoning district, which allows various uses
by special use permit. The application is to facilitate the use of
302 West Main Street for public/semi-public use for a school
(MACAA Head Start Preschool) as outlined in Town Code16544; B (1).
Comments will be heard in person during the public hearing.

mail to P.O. Box 531, Louisa, Virginia 23093. Complete copies of
the Special Use Permit application are available at Louisa Town
Hall. Requests for mailed or e-mailed copies will be honored.
The Town of Louisa will place any written or oral comments
received in the record of this permit. Questions should be
directed to Liz Nelson, Town Manager at
(540) 967-1400 between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm,
Monday through Friday. If special accommodations are needed
to participate, please contact our office the day prior to the Public
Hearing.
