The Purcell Gallery at the Louisa Arts Center is teaming up with the Louisa County Historical Society to present a joint exhibit that brings Louisa history to life. Local area artists will be invited to create artistic representations of items from the historical society’s collection with an opening reception for “ARTifacts of Louisa County” Friday, June 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. The show runs through July 21.
