The day will be full of free family entertainment and events, including the Lake Anna Christmas Vendor Village, the Lake Anna Christmas Tree Lighting, a visit from Santa, and the annual Lake Anna Lighted Boat Parade.
The Vendor Village will feature many local artisans, crafters, and other businesses from noon until 5 pm.
The Parade will begin at 5:15pm at Tim’s at Lake Anna Restaurant & Crabhouse and will make its way down the lake, passing Lake Anna State Park and the marinas, before arriving Lake Anna Taphouse at 7:00pm. Santa will make an appearance at Lake Anna Taphouse at 5:30pm.
Soon after the boats depart Tim’s, there will be a simultaneous Christmas Tree Lighting at Callie Opie’s Orchard, Coyote Hole Ciderworks, Lake Anna Tractor & Hardware, Lake Anna Outfitters, Lake Anna Winery, Lake Anna Nursery, Lake Anna Taphouse, Tim’s at Lake Anna, and Mid-Atlantic Watersports at 5:30pm.
There are many places to view the parade, including Lake Anna State Park, Anna Point Marina, and High Point Marina. All entrance fees are waived at Lake Anna State Park.
Be sure and make plans to have dinner in the area, too, as there are excellent dining options in addition to Tim’s at Lake Anna and Lake Anna Taphouse, like Callie Opie’s Orchard, Coyote Hole Ciderworks, Asian Cafe Lake Anna Va, Tavern on the Rail, and more.
There are a limited amount of vendor spots left if your business would like to be involved. Please contact Anne Mintz at AnneMintz-LABP@outlook.com to be a vendor.
