Baby-Toddler Time
Tuesday, May 9, 16, 23 and 30, from 11 a.m. to noon.
All parents and caregivers of little ones age 2 and under are welcome to join us for educational songs, reading and play. Some parent social time included. Older siblings may attend.
Read and Rhyme storytime
Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30, from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
A program highlighting early literacy skills. Enjoy books, rhymes, finger plays, flannel board stories and songs. Ages 2-5 with accompanying adult. Siblings are welcome.
Chair Yoga
Monday, May 8, 15 and 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This class offers the opportunity for gentle stretching, strengthening and relaxation. Ideal for those who want a softer, slow-paced yoga experience.
Lunch Book Club
Thursday, May 11, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Bring your lunch and join a lively discussion. The May title is Ancestor Approved, a collection of short stories edited by Cynthia Leitich Smith. For ages 11-13.

Bring Your Own Craft
Wednesday, May 10, 17, 24, 31, from 1 to 3:45 p.m.
BYOC is an open workshop for people who do any kind of handicraft. Come to share ideas, show off your work and get another crafter’s eye and perception. Chat and meet with your neighbors while you work on your craft project. All levels of crafting experience welcome.
Louisa Chess Club
Thursday, May 11, 18, 25, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Come join in on a weekly chess club meeting. There will be a short lesson on basics of chess, followed by casual game practice. All skill levels are welcomed. Ages 6-18.
Free Comic Book Day

Lions’ Showcase
Tuesday, May 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The Louisa County Library will be hosting a reception for the opening of the Lion’s Showcase, featuring Senior Showcase artwork and other curated pieces by Louisa County High School Students.
In the Future Farmers of America program, students participate in various events involving community service, leadership, competitions and fundraisers.
