The Men of St. Thomas Baptist Church will be hosting a Men Fellowship Day on Saturday, June 17th at 4:00pm. A guest minister will be speaking and a fellowship meal will be served. St. Mark Baptist Church  will observe its 144th church anniversary beginning with church school at 9 a.m., brunch at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11 a.m.  The program will feature a guest preacher and music by the Mass Choir. The church is located at 4596 Factory Mill Road, Maidens.

Monday, June 19

St. Mark and Shady Grove Baptist churches will hold a joint Vacation Bible School Monday, June 19 through Friday June 23 with the theme “Glow For Jesus: Let Your Light Shine.” Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. nightly, followed by devotions at 6:45 p.m. A presentation will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m., followed by a fish fry and cook out fellowship. Central Virginia Assembly of God will hold its Vacation Bible School “Maker Fun Factory – Created by God – Build for a Purpose” will be held Monday, June 19 through Friday, June 23 at 6:30 p.m.  Kids will make fun creations, laugh at funny skits and play exciting games, as well as find out God loves you and made you for a purpose.
