The Belmont Club of Women is pleased to announce their 2019-2020 high school scholarship winners.
Each year the club awards scholarships to area high school seniors to help them reach their goals through higher education. The scholarships are presented to students who have demonstrated a heart for service to their communities while maintaining superior academic achievement. Each scholarship is for $2,000. Congratulations to the 2020 winners!
The Evelyn Ross Scholarship was awarded to Taylor Talley, who graduated from Louisa County High School and is attending the University of Georgia this fall. She plans to major in law.
The Willie Wood Biscoe Scholarship was awarded to Aaliyah Cutlip, who graduated from Spotsylvania High School and now attends Virginia Commonwealth University. Her plan is to major in art (graphic design, communication arts)
The Goodwin Family Scholarship was awarded to Ashton Wolfrey, a graduate of Orange County High School. She is enrolled at James Madison University and plans to major in education.
