To the Editor,

As a citizen and a taxpayer in the Jackson District concerning the position of supervisor, I’d like to add my feelings and knowledge of a neighbor running for this position.

Mr. Bernie Hill, of Bumpass, has been a neighbor for more than 40 years, and I consider him a friend and capable for the supervisor position. He has been an active citizen, along with his wife, Wanda, who has been a Louisa County school teacher leading our children to be productive adults.

As The Central Virginian has previously published, Mr. Hill’s many concerns for the county are broadband, the Shannon Hill Business park, public schools, rescue squads and the Louisa County Comprehensive Plan. He is well qualified to represent us all as supervisor. Myself and my wife are proudly awaiting the opportunity to vote for this able representative as supervisor for the Jackson District. He will serve this position as an individual and not as a politician without accepting donations or bias toward special interests.

Please support this qualified candidate to represent you.
