Free vaccine clinic at high school basketball game

Blue Ridge Health District announced it will offer vaccines and booster shots, free of charge, at the Louisa County High School varsity boys’ basketball game on Friday, Jan. 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The high school is located at 757 Davis Highway in Mineral. All vaccines will be offered inside the gymnasium and masks are required.

The clinic will include Pfizer and Moderna shots – whichever one people choose to receive.

Appointments are preferred for children aged five to 11. Second dose appointments will be scheduled for Jan. 28 at the same time and location.

No insurance or papers are needed. People under age 18 must have an adult present.
