Gordmans opens doors in Louisa

Gordmans donated $1,000 to Louisa County High School as part of its grand opening festivities on March 17. Pictured are Stacy Rigsby, manager (second from right) and assistant managers Peggy Jasper, Kelly Berg and Katrina Perkins.

Gordmans replaced Peebles this week as the new clothing retailer in the town of Louisa's Glen Marye Shopping Center.

With the coronavirus in mind, store managers cancelled a ribbon-cutting scheduled on March 17. But the store was open on Tuesday for business and offered free gifts to the first 100 customers.

The Louisa location was one of 17 Gordmans stores around the state to celebrate their grand opening.
