The following people received indictments from the Louisa County grand jury or directly from the Louisa County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office on Monday, July 13. All charges are felonies unless otherwise indicated.
Crystal Beverly, 34, of Spotsylvania, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, grand larceny, theft of a firearm, entering a house to commit a felony, two counts of being a nonviolent felon in possession of a gun (felonies), possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia (misdemeanors).
Jonathan Bouza, 24, of Bumpass, felony credit card theft and petty larceny (misdemeanor).
Michael Finkle, 65, of Mineral, assault and battery of a family member (third offense).
Kenneth Foster, 34, of Gordonsville, three counts of possession of a firearm within 10 years of commiting a felony, entering a house with intent to commit a felony, grand larceny, firearm larceny (felonies) and assault and battery (misdemeanor).
Jerry Herbert, 46, of Mineral, malicious wounding.
Ethan Kyger, 20, of McGaheysville, distribution of marijuana and drug possession.
Justin Schoening, 38, of Louisa, strangulation.
William Sharpe, 35, of Mineral, two counts of issuing bad checks two or more times in a 90-day period.
Shawnta Wells, 45, of Gordonsville, driving under the influence of alcohol (third or subsequent offense).
Joshua Zinn, 29, of Richmond, two counts of issuing bad checks two or more times in a 90-day period.
