Health district surveys parents on vaccine for kids

Following a CDC approval for Emergency Use Authorization, Blue Ridge Health District expects to begin offering COVID-19 vaccines to children ages five to 11 the second week in November. A slower roll out of vaccines is expected as we will receive a limited number of vaccines each week.

In order to determine how to best serve families and their five-to-11-year-olds, we are asking all parents/guardians to complete this vaccination interest survey by Thursday, Nov. 4. Your answers will help us plan when and where to host vaccine clinics, making it easier for you and your families to get vaccinated. The survey is completely anonymous and used for planning purposes only. Call the COVID hotline at 434-972-6261 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) to find out how to access the survey.
