Louisa County Sheriff’s Office: Holiday awards banquet focuses on community outreach
During the 2022 LCSO Awards Banquet last month, members of the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, Louisa County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, Louisa County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Corps, Louisa County Crime Solvers, dignitaries, and other volunteers gathered for a tremendous holiday meal. After the meal, Sheriff Donnie Lowe spoke about the Louisa County community, then invited Duane Adams - Chairman of the Louisa County Board of Supervisors, and Louisa County Public Schools Superintendent Doug Straley to say a few words.
The night was capped off with the recognition of deputies, volunteers, donors, and members of the community for their selfless dedication, service, and commitment to others, beginning with Sheriff Lowe’s presentation of a Community Service Award posthumously to LCSO Foundation member Robert Kuhnle, which was presented to his wife Kathy Kuhnle, and his family.

Commission on Aging representative Jon Tustin recognizes Bob Kuhnle for his hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to our agency and to Louisa.
