James S Perry Jr.

James S Perry Jr, 38, of Bumpass passed away at St Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father, James S Perry Sr; Beloved mother Judith Ann Sorrells; Grandfather Russel Perry (who raised him) and Nephew Trinton Davis.

He is survived by his grandmother, Jean Rebecca Perry (who raised him); Sister Jennifer Lawson (Dakota); two children Makaylah and Destiny Anderson; Aunt Bonnie Perry (Lawrence); Uncle Matthew Perry (Lynn); Nephews Michael Lawson, Levi and Bentley Anderson; and Nieces Keayra Davis, Katie and Mia Lawson; and many cousins that he spoke of often.

James enjoyed playing video games, was a lifelong fan of professional wrestling and loved his large collection of ball caps. He had a great sense of humor that we will all miss, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on December 11th at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall at Bethany

Christian Church (2402 Bethany Church Rd, Bumpass Va 23024.) All friends and family are invited to share good food and great stories.

In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorial contributions be made in James’ name to the American Kidney Foundation.
