Julia Ann Shelton was born on February 10, 1939 to the late Sammie E. Townsend and the late Randolph E. Waller. Julia was preceded in death by her husband George R. Shelton; son Stephen Shelton Sr.; 6 sisters and seven brothers. Julia attended Spotsylvania Public Schools. She worked at Holly Farms, now Tysons Foods for 39 years. Julia rededicated her life to Jesus and joined and attended St. Thomas Baptist Church. Moreover, Julia loved playing card games with her family and friends, she also loved watching westerns, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Julia leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Benjamin (Carmen) Shelton of Germany; George R. Shelton; Dwayne- Keith Shelton; daughter in law Linda Lewis, all of Louisa VA.; two sisters; 17 grand-children; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A devoted beloved friend Gary Woodford; Addy Terrell; devoted niece Ellen Hartridge and cousin Lillie Mae Waller; A host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2023 at The Sun Chapel @ D. D. Watson, Louisa. Condolences maybe offered to the family at www.ddwatsonlouisa.com.
