Marjorie Alice Durham Baker

Marjorie Alice Durham Baker, 95, of Mineral passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her home.

Marjorie was a member of Gilboa Christian Church. She loved cooking, sewing, spending time and going out to eat with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edloe Baker Sr.; her father and mother, Lindsay Lloyd and Lottie Iris Durham; one grandson, Martin Corey Baker; two brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Edloe Baker Jr. (Linda) and Randall Wayne Baker; one daughter, Cynthia Baker Whitlock (Greg); nine grandchildren, Jonathan Baker, Sarah Current, Charles Jones, Erin Baker, Randall Wayne Baker Jr., Matthew Baker, William Whitlock Jr., Abby Whitlock and Lisa Hollar; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Lucille Shelton, Margie Shelton and The Hospice of the Piedmont.

A visitation was held at Woodward Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 4 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Travis Witt officiating.
