Melodie R. Lloyd, 65, of Louisa passed away Monday July 5, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, was a NASCAR fan, loved her cats, and worked as an Insurance Agent with Woodward Insurance Agency for 40 years.

Melodie was preceded in death by her parents the late Theodore (Ted) and Arleen Robertson Ray; and one brother Jerry Alan Ray.

She is survived by her loving husband David H. Lloyd; sisters-in-law Kathy Martin and Diane Saunders; brother-in-law, Larry Lloyd; great niece; Taylor Maddox; cousins Linda Stillwell, Kathy Hicks, Dianne Gobbie,  Carolyn Dunn, Rita Hall, Susan Fletcher, John Robertson, David Robertson, and Aubrey Robertson; and her aunt Margie Robertson; special family, George and Carole Kail, and George Allen Kail; and a host of other friends and family.

A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Woodward Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jeffrey Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Louisa.
