Robert Wayne “Dootsie” Estes Jr., 35, of Louisa passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1985. He was the son of Robert Estes Sr. and Linde Estes. He spent his time on this earth outdoors. If he did not have a fishing pole in his hand, he was working on his yard tractors with his father.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his children, Hunter, Zachary, and Logan; his siblings, Sherry Thacker and fiancé Micheal, Donnie Estes and fiancée Jesslea, Peggy Estes, and Stella Toler; nieces and nephews, Breanna, Dakota, Elizabeth, Anna, Leigham, Breckyn and many more. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Amber Spencer and life-long friends, Christopher Embry, Joshua Kober and Charlie Kendrick.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald Estes Sr. and Mamie Estes, Goodie and Juanita Thurston; the mother of his oldest children, Ashley Pugh and best friend, Ricky Glass.

Robert will always be loved and missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Grace Freewill Church in Trevilians.
