Ms. Robin Snow Collier, of South Boston, passed away on July 18, 2019 at the age of 62. She was born in Halifax County on May 16, 1957 to Geneva Thomas Snow and the late Franklin “Bro” D. Snow.
Robin attended Bread of Life Church in South Boston. She was a graduate of the class of 1976 at Halifax County High School and a 1981 graduate of Radford University. She loved traveling, motorcycle trips, crafts, quilting, puzzles, gardening and cooking. Her family was very important to her. She worked for First Care Health Services, where she was the finance manager and accountant. Robin wanted to send a very special “thank you” to her co-workers.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Travis Collier; sister, Kathy Seay and husband, Willard, of Louisa; brothers, Scott Snow and wife, Wanda, of Daleville, and Michael Snow and wife, Mary, of Glade Hill, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Erica Snow, Kelly Mewshaw, Alex Seay, Baine Seay, Jonathan Snow and Christopher Snow; and her life partner, Lee Burkholder.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Leslie Hupp Thomas Bebber; and father of her son, Michael Raymond Collier.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at South Boston Church of God on July 23 with Pastor Daniel Thomas and Pastor Bruce Hagy officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on July 22 at South Boston Church of God from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., and at other times in the home of her mother.
