It’s with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Stanley Lee Bratton. Stanley passed February 28th, 2023, at the age of 74, after fighting a courageous battle with an Aortic Aneurysm. He was born on November 22,1948 in Pulaski VA. Stanley moved to Louisa VA, where he resided for the last 40 years. Stanley worked as an Iron worker for local 28 until retiring.
Stanley was preceded in death by his wife Mary Gibson Bratton, his father James Lewis Bratton, mother Emmer Martha Bowmen, son James Weaver (JW) Bratton, grandson Timothy David Weakley, sisters Edith Smith, Margaret York & brother James Bratton.
Stanley is survived by his sweetie Violet Simpson, children Angela (Angel) Norton (Jon), Karen Cassell (Wayne) & Sean Bratton,14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, sister Darlene Lacy, brothers Billy Bratton & Charles (Tucker) Bratton, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at the River, Stanley’s favorite camping/ fishing spot on May 27th 2023 at 1:00 pm for Family and friends.
