To the editor:
It has been three weeks since George Floyd was brutally murdered by police in Minneapolis. We have witnessed protest marches spring up all over the country and all over the world. In our area we have witnessed marches in Richmond, Henrico and Chesterfield, but also in Orange, Powhatan, Culpeper and Spotsylvania. One is planned in Goochland for this Friday, Juneteenth.
Why have we not seen any outrage in Louisa? Are we so timid or is everything so perfect here that we do not need to voice our dismay at what is going on?
Time to rise up and have our voices heard!
