JV sports wrap-up

Thursday, the JV Lions doubled up Fluvanna, 4-2. Two nights earlier, Louisa and Goochland tied 10-10.

JV baseball win two

The Lions’ JV baseball team opened the week with a 13-10 win on the road at Powhatan. The next night, the JV Lions hosted Goochland and won another high-scoring affair, 11-7. The week ended with the boys on the short end of a 3-2 decision at home against Fluvanna.

JV soccer falls

It was a tough week for the junior varsity girls and boys soccer teams last week, with both Lions’ squads falling to Goochland Monday. The JV girls lost at home to Western Albemarle Tuesday, while the JV boys fell to Fluvanna Thursday.
