Landon Wilson will be heading to Emory & Henry to play for the Wasps. Over Wilson’s 4-year tenure as starting QB, he led the Lions to a total record of 36-5 and four Jefferson District championships. He recently received the honor of first team all-region, all purpose and first team all-region DB to go along with the Jefferson District offensive player of the year. He is looking to continue his winning ways and display his talents on the next level.
“The amount of time, energy, and effort that he put in over each summer and in the off-season was unbelievable,” said Wilsons’s mother, Natalie. “Playing college football has been a dream of his since he was little, so it’s just rewarding to see his goals come into fruition… after his visit he said that it felt like home, so we know that Emory & Henry is where God would have him be.”

Defensive end Elijah Brooks also put the pen to paper and inked his commitment to play at the Virginia Military Institute for the Keydets. Brooks also recently received the honor of first team all-region defense. At 6’2 and 285 lbs., he is an absolute force to be reckoned with in the trenches.
“To put it simply, it’s a dream come true for all of us,” said Brooks’s father, Isaiah. “And it’s always good affirmation to know that all the hard work really does pay off.”
