J. DOUGLAS STRALEY II
DIVISION SUPERINTENDENT
To our Louisa County High School Class of 2026 students and families:
As I reflect on Graduation 2026, my heart is filled with gratitude, pride, and appreciation for the incredible journey we have shared together. On Friday night, inside The Jungle — a place where so many unforgettable memories have been made through the years — we gathered one more time as ONE FAMILY to celebrate the Louisa County High School Class of 2026. It was a night I will never forget and always cherish.
To the members of the Class of 2026: thank you for what you have meant to our school division and to Louisa County as a whole. Your high school journey was filled with moments of challenge, growth, celebration, and perseverance. Through it all, you continued to rise above adversity with positivity, determination, grit, and heart. You supported one another, lifted each other up, and represented what it truly means to be a Lion.
You have left your mark on Louisa County High School, and your legacy will live on far beyond graduation night.
To our Class of 2026 families: thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifice throughout this journey. A graduation ceremony represents far more than a diploma—it reflects years of love, guidance, patience, and teamwork. Over the past several days, it has been incredibly special to see our community celebrating these graduates and sharing their stories, memories, and accomplishments. I sincerely hope Graduation 2026 was everything you hoped it would be and more.
I also want to express my appreciation to our incredible Team LCPS staff members. Every successful graduation ceremony is the result of countless hours of hard work behind the scenes, and our staff once again went above and beyond to create a memorable experience for our students and families. More importantly, throughout these students’ educational journeys, you served not only as educators, but also as mentors, role models, encouragers, and champions for our students. Thank you for making a lasting difference in the lives of our graduates.
And finally, to the Louisa County High School Class of 2026, it has truly been the honor of a lifetime to serve as your superintendent. As you begin this next chapter, remember that success does not always follow a straight path. Life is filled with twists, turns, unexpected opportunities, and moments that challenge you to grow. Some of you are heading to college, some into the workforce, and others into military service — but wherever life takes you, never lose sight of who you are or where you came from. Carry your LION PRIDE with you wherever you go.
Most importantly, continue to lead with kindness, character, and purpose. If you dedicate yourself to serving others and making the world around you better, you will find your place and make an impact far greater than you can imagine.
Thank you for allowing us to celebrate one final night together in The Jungle. The memories made there — the victories, the friendships, the laughter, the lessons, and now your graduation — will forever be part of your life story.
Congratulations, LCHS Class of 2026. We are proud of you, we believe in you, and we cannot wait to see what comes next.
Together, we are ONE Family. Together, we are Team LCPS.
