Jefferson Area Board for Aging Respite and Enrichment Centers (REC) provide a safe, loving environment for older adults during the week, where members enjoy activities, outings, professional, personalized care, healthy meals, and socialization opportunities with people of all ages. First Thursdays Join the Louisa Herb Guild at the Sargeant Museum on the first Thursdays of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. The guild is a group of gardening enthusiasts committed to herbal and horticultural education and bringing local history to life through hands-on experiences. Members of the public are always welcome to join, and guild meetings are open to all!

A scene-reading group meets the second Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Louisa County Library (881 Davis Hwy.). Gather together to read short scripts, parts of plays or screenplays, original compositions, or even transcribed scenes from pop culture. No acting experience necessary.
