Wesley Neal Johnson

On June 29, Wesley Johnson left this world at the age of 20.

Wesley was an excellent student who graduated with an advanced diploma from Louisa County High School. He was a loving brother, a kind friend, and the best son a parent could ask for. He will be remembered for his love of trains, building with Legos, Chipotle burritos, his pet ducks, and always being sharply dressed. Wesley loved seeing new places and going on adventures, and he had a way of finding joy in the things he cared about most.

He leaves behind his parents, Erin Kidd and Phillip Johnson; his brothers, Denis, Noah, Eli, and Wyatt; his sisters, Yulia, Mariah, and Ella; his Uncle Ernie Kidd; his cousin William Gothard; and his close friends and loved ones, all of whom will hold on to many cherished memories with him.

Wesley’s parents want their son to be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, his ability to build anything he imagined, his quirky sense of humor, quick wit, beautiful smile, and great hair. He had a unique way about him, including a tendency to slip out without saying goodbye that made him entirely himself. Wesley was deeply sensitive, loved nature, and saw the world in his own thoughtful way.

His family remembers him with compassion and love. He will be deeply missed and often thought about. He never wanted those he loved to be sad, so this isn’t goodbye, just “see you later.”

A private service will be held at a later date.
