Thelma Price Jackson was called to eternal rest on July 12, 2026 at Louisa Health and Rehab Center, Louisa, VA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Thelma was born March 31, 1932 to the late Bessie and Aubrey Price of Fluvanna County, VA. She joined County Line Baptist Church at an early age, she held membership there until her passing. Thelma truly loved her church family. Thelma loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Thelma love the Lord, and for many years she traveled with her sisters (The Price Sisters) singing the gospel at a large number of churches. Thelma was employed by Comdial Telephone Systems, Charlottesville, VA until her retirement. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Jackson and grandson, Jordan Jackson. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Laverne (Kenneth, her son-in-law, which she dearly loved) and her loving son Maurice (Tonya, her daughter- in-law, which she dearly loved), 5 grandchildren; Tonnisha Robinson ( Bryan), Kenneth Johnson Jr, Jalen Jackson, Tianna Jackson and Taneya Jackson and 5 great grandchildren; Isaiah Robinson, Aubrey Jackson, Layla Robinson, Jaden Jackson and Camden Robinson. Thelma is also survived by one sister Helen Walker (Carl), sister-in-laws, Sadie Price and Joann Price, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Mario Hatchett, officiating and Rev. Austin G. Bates, eulogist. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Condolences maybe offered to the family at www. ddwatsonlouisa.com
