“Autumn Beckons” Arts Center’s next show opens Oct. 2
The Louisa Arts Center is pleased to announce that the next show in the Purcell Gallery will be entitled “AUTUMN BECKONS” and will include both two-dimensional and threedimensional artwork from local artists!

The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area invites community members to The Listening Table, an opportunity for voters to meet candidates, ask questions, and talk about the issues that matter to them. Lake Anna Bluegrass Festival, LCEF benefit
The 2026 Lake Anna Bluegrass Festival returns Saturday, Sept. 19, noon to 6 p.m. at Prospect Drafthouse at Coyote Hole (225 Oak Grove Drive, Mineral). This family event features live music, food vendors and childrens’ activities.Admission is free. The festival is sponsored by Visit Louisa.

Potluck in the Park
At the end of the September 10 meeting, community members talked about an upcoming event, a potluck at the Whitlock Family Park on Sunday, September 20 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Residents who live in the Town of Mineral are encouraged to attend and bring lawn chairs and food.
