County talks process if Mineral pulls charter
Recent controversy in the Town of Mineral led Mayor Pam Harlowe to send an email to council members on the morning of July 20 advising the group to “give up the charter ASAP.” The Louisa County Board of Supervisors (BoS) held a discussion on the process for potential annulment of the town’s charter at the August 3 board meeting.
Mineral town manager controversy continues
The entire Mineral Town Council was present for the special meeting on July 23, including attorney John Conrad and Nicole Washington who are both in the middle of recent controversy that has further divided an already split council.
