TOWN OF MINERAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Bob Spedden
I want to be mayor to bring a little peace and cooperation to the council and to the Town of Mineral. We as a council have begun by filling the empty council seat. Would like to see us move forward for the betterment of town. We can respect each other without agreeing on every bullet point.

TOWN OF MINERAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Rebecca “Becky” McGehee
I decided to run again because our town was in trouble & hitting rock bottom. I wanted to help get our town back in order & worried about the status & reputation that our town had gotten. I am happy to report that having our town manager back, we are achieving this. In the past couple of months our town is bouncing back. We have accomplished more than we had the last 9 months. Our staff have been treated badly & I want our relationship to be a priority. And that is being achieved now.

TOWN OF MINERAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Michelle Covert
The citizens of Mineral deserve transparent, responsible, and respect‑ful governance, and that is why I seek to continue serving on Council. A civil, functioning Council is essential for every service the Town provides. After months of disorder, recent meet‑ings have shown that when disruptive members are absent, Council can re‑turn to lawful, productive work. That glimpse of normal operations is ex‑actly what our residents should expect.

TOWN OF MINERAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Cara Lundgren-Stowe
I think that I bring a new perspective on the issues facing Mineral as a parent to a young family hoping to set down roots here. This perspective helps to keep me invested in the long term future of the town, for example, trying to bring crosswalks and more sidewalks to Mineral. In addition, I think that my work experience as a teacher and my education show that I am professional, well organized, and dependable. Simply put, I want to be a council member so that I can help Mineral fulfill its full potential.

TOWN OF MINERAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Maggie Larson
As a parent, I think about whether our streets are safe to walk, whether our parks and community events bring people together, and whether Mineral will continue to be a place that families are proud to call home. I believe it can be, and I want to help make that happen.

TOWN OF MINERAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE – Catherine Blair Nipper
