Tiger Woods’ TGR Design chosen for Lake Anna golf course
Tributer Resort, a premier golf and residential destination by Reef Capital Partners along the shores of Virginia’s Lake Anna, today announced plans for a new private, 18-hole championship golf course by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design. The project further expands TGR Design’s portfolio of world-class golf destinations and is the second championship golf experience at Tributer Resort.

Celebrate Juneteenth, Father’s Day Car Show
Join the Louisa Chapter of the NAACP and Louisa County Historical Society for a Juneteenth Celebration. Honor the history of emancipation and the central role churches have played, and continue to play, in community leadership and cultural preservation. Friday, June 19, there will be a Parade of Churches and Fish Fry at the Town of Louisa Park (108 Meadow Ave, Louisa). The parade will begin at 4:00 a.m. Church performances and a Fish Fry to follow. Saturday, June 20, enjoy the African American Heritage Festival at Moss Nuckols Elementary School (2055 Courthouse Rd., Louisa) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Lake Anna State Park drowning victim identified
Spotsylvania authorities are investigating a fatal drowning that occurred at Lake Anna State Park on June 4. The man was recently identified as Ahmad Fawad Sataryaar, 37, of Falls Church.
