School Nutrition

The Louisa County Public Schools (LCPS) school board recognized the LCPS School Nutrition team at the September 1 board meeting. From June 8 through July 23, more than 20 staff and volunteers served over 68,000 meals at nearly a dozen locations across Louisa County. The group served 1,133 meals on the first day and served a total of 68,356 meals, a new record for the district in their summer meals program. “We wanted to say thank you for the great work you do, taking the time out of your summer to make this happen for so many across our Louisa community,” LCPS Superintendent Doug Straley said. “You are changing lives and making a big difference.”
