Stuff the Bus Success
Stuff the Bus is Louisa County Public Schools (LCPS) annual school supplies drive held at the Walmart in Zion Crossroads. Volunteers for the event included administrators, students, parents, community partners, and the Louisa County High School band. This year, they collected 123 boxes worth of supplies, which was a new record for the event. The supplies will now be distributed to each of the six schools in LCPS to support families this year.
LCSO charges suspect in child’s death
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 2-year-old female child after she was brought to the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office by her mother.

As Sheriff of Louisa County and a Constitutional Officer sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia, I want to address concerns regarding proposed and newly enacted legislation related to so-called “assault weapons.”
