Cynthia “Faye” Dulaney, age 83 and longtime resident of Louisa County, passed away peacefully August 2nd at home.

Faye was born August 28th, 1942, to Emmett Calvin Cason and Elenor Strickland Gay. She is preceded in death by both her parents and a half sister Carolyn M’Ghee. Faye is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Beverly Dulaney, her daughter Rhonda Payne (Conway); son Mark Owen Dulaney; son Kevin Dulaney (Chris), and her grandchildren: Owen Dulaney, Mariah Dulaney, Carly Dulaney and Cason Dulaney.

Faye graduated tom Orange County High School. She was homecoming Queen and had many lifelong friends from school. Faye worked at Virginia National Bank, Louisa Chiropractic Center, and Lemons Jewelry Store. She was an avid reader, loved gardening and grew the most beautiful roses. Faye was a member of Berea Baptist church and enjoyed singing in the choir.

Faye was a devoted wife to Bev, her high school sweetheart. She loved her Family and was so proud of her grandchildren.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Berea Baptist Church on Saturday, August 8th at 2pm.5271 Poindexter Rd Louisa, Va 23093 She is in the care of Sheridan Funeral Home.
