Edna W. Duggins, born on February 13, 1928, passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 98. She was the daughter of Claude & Victoria Wingfield of Hanover County, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Anna W. Beadles, her brothers Andrew, Francis, and Henry Wingfield, her son-in-law John Markey, and husband William Ray Duggins. Edna is survived by her daughters Victoria Lancaster (Kenneth), Claudia Markey, Virgilia Cutright (Jerry), and son James Duggins (Vickie), seven grandchildren Kristin Chapman, Sarah Blanchard, Justin Markey, Whitney Kirschbaum, Loren Kearney, Allison Coleman, and Daniel Cutright, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Graveside service was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Locust Creek Fire & Rescue, 575 Bethany Church Road, Bumpass, Va. 23024.
